HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLES: •INTRODUCES METHODS FOR MODELING ENERGY FLOW
IN HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLES; •PRESENTS A STANDARD MATHEMATICAL
FORMULATION OF THE OPTIMAL CONTROL PROBLEM; •DISCUSSES DIFFERENT
OPTIMIZATION AND CONTROL STRATEGIES FOR ENERGY MANAGEMENT, INTEGRATING
THE MOST RECENT RESEARCH RESULTS; AND •CARRIES OUT AN OVERALL
