Zusammenfassung: | The papers in this volume were originally presented at the Symposium on Conversation, held at the University of New Mexico in July 1995. The symposium brought together scholars who work on face-to-face communication from a variety of perspectives: social, cultural, cognitive and communicative. Our aim for both the symposium and this volume has been to challenge some of the prevailing dichotomies in discourse studies: First, the cleavage between the study of information flow and the study of social interaction. Second, the theoretical division between speech-situation models and cognitive models. Third, the methodological split between the study of spontaneous conversation in natural context and the study of speech production and comprehension under controlled experimental conditions. And fourth, the rigid genre distinction between narrative and conversational discourse |

Bernas Communicating Evaluation in Narrative Understanding Tom Trabasso and Asli Ozyurek The papers in this volume were originally presented at the Symposium on Conversation, held at the University of New Mexico in July 1995. And fourth, the rigid genre distinction between narrative and conversational discourse FAMILY & RELATIONSHIPS / Friendship bisacsh Conversation analysis fast Discourse analysis fast Oral communication fast Comunicación oral / Congresos Análisis del discurso / Congresos Discourse analysis gtt Konversation swd Kongress swd Konversationsanalyse swd Conversation analysis Congresses Oral communication Congresses Discourse analysis Congresses Konversation (DE-588)4165198-4 gnd rswk-swf Konversationsanalyse (DE-588)4114283-4 gnd rswk-swf (DE-588)1071861417 Konferenzschrift 1995 Albuquerque, NM gnd-content Konversationsanalyse (DE-588)4114283-4 s DE-604 Konversation (DE-588)4165198-4 s Givón, Talmy 1936- (DE-588)120508575 edt Erscheint auch als Druck-Ausgabe, Hardcover 978-90-272-2929-8 Erscheint auch als Druck-Ausgabe, Hardcover 978-1-55619-643-0 Erscheint auch als Druck-Ausgabe, Paperback 978-90-272-2930-4 Erscheint auch als Druck-Ausgabe, Paperback 978-1-55619-644-7 Typological studies in language 34 (DE-604)BV043466839 34 https://doi.org/10.1075/tsl.34 Verlag URL des Erstveröffentlichers Volltext |
