Conclusions "Over the past two decades the study of social movements, revolution, democratization and other non-routine politics has flourished. And yet research on the topic remains highly fragmented, reflecting the influence of at least three traditional divisions. The first of these reflects the view that various forms of contention are distinct and should be studied independent of others. Separate literatures have developed around the study of social movements, revolutions and industrial conflict. A second approach to the study of political contention denies the possibility of general theory in deference to a grounding in the temporal and spatial particulars of any given episode of contention. The study of contentious politics are left to 'area specialists' and/or historians with a thorough knowledge of the time and place in question. Finally, overlaid on these two divisions are stylized theoretical traditions - structuralist, culturalist, and rationalist - that have developed largely in isolation from one another." http://www.loc.gov/catdir/description/cam021/2001016172.html |

Finally, overlaid on these two divisions are stylized theoretical traditions - structuralist, culturalist, and rationalist - that have developed largely in isolation from one another." http://www.loc.gov/catdir/description/cam021/2001016172.html Movimientos sociales Conducta colectiva Revoluciones Comportement collectif Mouvements sociaux Révolutions Démocratisation SOCIAL SCIENCE / General bisacsh Collective behavior fast Democratization fast Revolutions fast Social movements fast Sociale bewegingen gtt Collectief gedrag gtt Democratisering gtt Comportement collectif ram Mouvements sociaux ram Révolutions ram Kollektives Verhalten swd Soziale Bewegung swd Demokratisierung swd Demokratisierung Collective behavior Social movements Revolutions Democratization Revolution (DE-588)4049680-6 gnd rswk-swf Kollektives Verhalten (DE-588)4130047-6 gnd rswk-swf Demokratisierung (DE-588)4124941-0 gnd rswk-swf Soziale Bewegung (DE-588)4055707-8 gnd rswk-swf Revolution (DE-588)4049680-6 s Demokratisierung (DE-588)4124941-0 s 1\p DE-604 Soziale Bewegung (DE-588)4055707-8 s Kollektives Verhalten (DE-588)4130047-6 s 2\p DE-604 Tarrow, Sidney G. 1938- Sonstige (DE-588)170066053 oth Tilly, Charles 1929-2008 Sonstige (DE-588)121677117 oth http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site&db=nlebk&db=nlabk&AN=112590 Aggregator Volltext 1\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 2\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk |
