KEITH Q.T. ZHANG held the position of Chair Professor of Information Engineering in the Department of
Electronics Engineering at City University of Hong Kong until he retired in 2012. Prior to this, he was Professor
at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. His areas of research interest include fading channels, diversity
reception, massive and distributive MIMO, network convergence, and green communications. He has published
80 IEEE Transactions papers, among which he is the single author of 17. He was an Associate Editor for IEEE
Communications Letters from 2000 to 2007, and serves on the Technical Program Committee for various IEEE
conferences including ICC, VTC, and Globecom. He is an IEEE Fellow.
