Beschreibung: | Ascribed to the press of Jesse Cochran by McCorison. - In another edition (not in Shaw & Shoemaker or McCorison) the imprint date is incorrectly printed as Jan. 1, 1815, the cartouche title continues with the phrase "in which Yankee skill & bravery will forever stand on record unparalelled in history," the first line of the Battle of Niagara reads correctly "O'er Huron's wave the sun was low," and the placement of texts and cuts varies. - McCorison, M.A. Vermont, 1821a. - Prose account of the battle of New Orleans, followed by a song and two poems about the War of 1812. - Shaw & Shoemaker, 37740. - Text and illustrations in seven columns; printed area measures 55.4 x 44.2 cm. - Title within cartouche: Grand battle of N.
