Beschreibung:"Advertisement. The citizens of New-York, who have so liberally patronised this work, will pardon, if not applaud, the dress of it. ... If the subject matter it contains, should excite a general and liberal attention, it may call forth, from the same pen, a work, long since prepared for the press: entitled, 'A retrospective glance at Federal measures: or Biographical traits of the Federal junto in New-England.' ... Persons desirous of the 'Glance' and 'Biography,' as above, may lodge their names and number of books which they wish, with any Republican printer, who will, on the first of June next, please to transmit the names, &c. to the Office of the American citizen, New-York, addressed to R.
