Cobbett, 67. - Includes also President Jefferson's reply dated July 12, 1801, and a criticism of the remonstrants by Abraham Bishop originally published in the Sun of liberty, Sept. 9, 1801. - Shaw & Shoemaker, 30925. - The New-Haven remonstrance, published originally in the Connecticut courant and five other newspapers on July 27, 1801, protested against the appointment of Samuel Bishop to replace Elizur Goodrich as collector for the port of New Haven.
