FAMILY AND SUBFAMILIES SYSTEMATICALLY COVERS, FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE
SHARED STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL FEATURES OF THE RTK FAMILY.
UNDERSTANDING THE EVOLUTIONARY ORIGIN OF THE FIFTY-EIGHT RTKS, THEIR
ROLES IN INVERTEBRATES AND IN HUMANS, AS WELL AS DOWNSTREAM SIGNALING
