Special emphasis is placed on digital television, radio telephony, net and Internet technology, and net management concepts and standards. Numerous abbreviations are also listed with explanatory comments and cross-references to norms and standards, and tables of all CCITT norms are given in an appendix. More than just a dictionary, this book will be an indispensible reference for all who work in telecommunications and information technology.
