Beschreibung: | This book sterns from a course on Micromechanics that I started about fifteen years ago at Northwestern University. At that time, micromechanics was a rather unfamiliar subject. Although I repeated the course every year, I was ne ver convinced that my notes have quite developed into a final manuscript because new topics emerged constantly requiring revisions, and additions. I finally came to realize that if this is continued, then I will never complete the book to my total satisfaction. Meanwhile, T. Mori and I had coauthored a book in Micromechanics, published by Baifu-kan, Tokyo, in Japanese, entitled 1975. It received an extremely favorable response from students and researchers in Japan. This encouraged me to go ahead and publish my course notes in their latest version, as this book, which contains further development of the subject and is more comprehensive than the one published in Japanese. Micromechanics encompasses mechanics related to microstructures of materials. The method employed is a continuum theory of elasticity yet its applications cover a broad area relating to the mechanical behavior of materials: plasticity, fracture and fatigue, constitutive equations, composite materials, polycrystals, etc. These subjects are treated in this book by means of a powerful and unified method which is called the 'eigenstrain method. ' In particular, problems relating to inclusions and dislocations are most effectively analyzed by this method, and therefore, special emphasis is placed on these topics |

' In particular, problems relating to inclusions and dislocations are most effectively analyzed by this method, and therefore, special emphasis is placed on these topics Physics Physics, general Eigenspannung (DE-588)4013788-0 gnd rswk-swf Gitterbaufehler (DE-588)4125030-8 gnd rswk-swf Inhomogenes Medium (DE-588)4228459-4 gnd rswk-swf Versetzung Kristallographie (DE-588)4187993-4 gnd rswk-swf Mechanik (DE-588)4038168-7 gnd rswk-swf Rissbildung (DE-588)4050137-1 gnd rswk-swf Mikrostruktur (DE-588)4131028-7 gnd rswk-swf Kristallwachstum (DE-588)4123579-4 gnd rswk-swf Mechanische Eigenschaft (DE-588)4217961-0 gnd rswk-swf Isotropie (DE-588)4162588-2 gnd rswk-swf Mikromechanik (DE-588)4205811-9 gnd rswk-swf Elastizität (DE-588)4014159-7 gnd rswk-swf Festkörper (DE-588)4016918-2 gnd rswk-swf Mikrostruktur (DE-588)4131028-7 s Festkörper (DE-588)4016918-2 s Mechanik (DE-588)4038168-7 s 1\p DE-604 Gitterbaufehler (DE-588)4125030-8 s Mikromechanik (DE-588)4205811-9 s 2\p DE-604 Mechanische Eigenschaft (DE-588)4217961-0 s 3\p DE-604 Rissbildung (DE-588)4050137-1 s 4\p DE-604 Eigenspannung (DE-588)4013788-0 s 5\p DE-604 Elastizität (DE-588)4014159-7 s 6\p DE-604 Inhomogenes Medium (DE-588)4228459-4 s 7\p DE-604 Kristallwachstum (DE-588)4123579-4 s 8\p DE-604 Isotropie (DE-588)4162588-2 s 9\p DE-604 Versetzung Kristallographie (DE-588)4187993-4 s 10\p DE-604 Monographs and textbooks on mechanics of solids and fluids, Mechanics of elastic and inelastic solids 3 (DE-604)BV005631004 3 https://doi.org/10.1007/978-94-011-9306-1 Verlag Volltext 1\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 2\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 3\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 4\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 5\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 6\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 7\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 8\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 9\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk 10\p cgwrk 20201028 DE-101 https://d-nb.info/provenance/plan#cgwrk |
