| Zusammenfassung: | In the study Verse and Language we have tried to address the language layer of verse texts in an expert way. We intended to thoroughly inverstigate some vital linguistic elements found in Serbian poetry, tracing them through the three most important periods of its development, from the poetic and lingustic viewpoints. The basis of analysis was the verse structure which revealed to us its underlying rules, thus making our research quite authentic, as it derived from real analysis of the verse text. We completely abandoned the application of ready-made approaches, so that our inverstigation consisted of direct communication with the poetic text as such, where we detected some new facts, drawing from them new relevant theoretical postulates and original conclusions, and in doing so shaping an ever more precise and appropriate conceptual apparatus. |
