Zu jedem Text werden die wichtigsten Editionen sowie weiterführende Literaturhinweise gegeben. Die Konkordanz (Band 1) analysiert den Wortbestand der Inschriften nach Lexemen geordnet. Sie dient als Referenzband für den Konkordanzteil und ermöglicht eine schnelle Einsicht in den Gesamtkontext sämtlicher Belegstellen. Zu jedem Text werden die wichtigsten Editionen sowie weiterführende Literaturhinweise gegeben. Damit ist der Fachwelt erstmals der gesamte Textbestand der alt- und reichsaramäischen Epigraphik in einem Band zugänglich. Die Konkordanz (Band 1) analysiert den Wortbestand der Inschriften nach Lexemen geordnet. Zusammen mit dem Textband (Band 2, erschienen 2004)wird das für Orientalisten, Alttestamentler, Althistoriker und Semitisten gleichermaßen wichtige Quellenmaterial erstmals auf breiter Basis erschlossen Main description: This collected edition presents the texts of the more than 2500 Old and Imperial Aramaic inscriptions (10th-3rd cents.
