THE SIBERIAN BUILDERS
IN 1946-1970
In this monograph a retrospective analysis of capital construction from the Siberian
region for a long historical period was given. The author investigates changes in man-
agement industry in the size and capacity building organizations. In this book process of
formation cadres at the building industry, population dynamics and transformation into
socio-demographic structure, educational level and professional qualification structure of
its workers had been studied. The main factors influencing to turnover staffs in work
collectives were analyzed. Also the activity of economic, government and party officials
for their stabilization had been illustrated. There is generalize the experience of profes-
sional training workers in schools and vocational training in the workplaces, analyze the
practice of professional development of different categories of staff too. The shape of
organization of labor in the industrial sector, the living and working conditions for em-
ployees and their families were studied. The changes in the system and types of compen-
sation, the dynamics and differentiation of cash incomes in the various categories of pro-
fessional groups and specific features decision, housing issue builders were described.
This book is designed for historians, economists, and all interested in history s of the
construction industry, including those involved in it previously or currently.
