in Algeria have thrust North Africa into the headlines as a new front in
the Global War on Terror , Jeremy Keenan reveals how the Pentagon s
designation of the region as a Terror Zone has destroyed the lives and
livelihoods of thousands of innocent people.
In his previous book, The Dark Sahara, Keenan exposed collusion
between the US and Algeria in fabricating false flag terrorism to justify
US intervention in the
Saharán
region. This new book examines the US
invasion of the Sahel, and shows how repressive regimes, cashing
in on US terrorism rents1, provoked Tuareg rebellions in both Niger
and Mali. Multinationals expropriated Tuareg lands for uranium and
puppeteers in Washington, Aigiers and Europe pulled the strings of a

JEREMY KEENAN is a Professorial Research Associate at the School
