COACTIV APPLIES A BROAD, INNOVATIVE CONCEPTUALIZATION OF TEACHER
COMPETENCE TO EXAMINE HOW MATHEMATICS TEACHERS’ KNOWLEDGE, BELIEFS,
MOTIVATIONAL ORIENTATIONS, AND SELF-REGULATION SKILLS INFLUENCE THEIR
INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICE AND TEACHING OUTCOMES. MOREOVER, IT GAUGES THE
EFFECTS OF THESE TEACHER CHARACTERISTICS ON STUDENT LEARNING, AS INDEXED
