years of captivity as a sovereign state, stood au¬
tumn of
1918
to many issues, which was the source of both world war, which for
nearly five years precipitated the economic life of a normal track, as well as long-
term policy of occupation authorities, influencing all fields life in the polish lands
exclusively for the interests of the partitioning powers.
One of the great problems of the young country was reviving the shortage of
trained personnel
-
are prepared to work effectively in the new reality. Another
problem requiring swift, deliberate decision was the issue of education of the yo¬
ung generation of Poles, entering in the near future in adult life. Both of these issu¬
es was perceived
-
were burning issues in the resurgent state and its armed forces.
From the first days of the formation of the polish army after independence,
the military authorities have attached great importance to the issue of training ge¬
neral military, specialist as well as civic education, in which the plan first put for¬
ward sport (discipline), morality, patriotism, the officer-emphasized the role of
educator.
Adolescence is the period most suitable for body shaping personal, face the
moral strength of character of the future citizen-soldier-officer.
The Second Republic leadership of the Ministry of Military affairs seemed ful¬
ly aware of this fact. Bearing in mind the needs of the country and the army,
having regard to the educational achievements of the first in the history of our mi¬
litary education training institutions commanding staff of professionally prepared
and civil administration
-
the Knights School, in collaboration with the Ministry of
Religion and Public Education has decided to resurrection of modern schools of
chivalry
-
bodies cadets.
Work on the reactivation of these plants have become more lively pace with
the rise of the Ministry of Defense

Military Education Department which gener¬
ated additional subordinated cadet plants.

These institutions, implement a full program of general lower secondary
cation taking into account the problems of extensive nuhtary trammg, along
carefully conducted physical education classes.
The intention of the promoters and developers were properly prepare young
people for further education in the schools officer (develop their abilities to profes¬
sional military service and) educate a man of active, creative, prepared to actively
live and work in society, in the country. Unit informed of their goals and desires, it
implemented the pending obligations and the exercise of its rights.
Cadet School constituted a vital link in a coherent system of training and edu¬
cating future cadres of the Polish Army Second Republic. Corps of Cadets were the
vestibule, a military school, shaping the silhouette, the face of future candidates
for the honorable service of the state service which is undoubtedly a professional
soldier and officer in particular.

thought. Starting from the Knights School of

of cadets through the Duchy of Warsaw and the Polish Kingdom, to the school ca¬
det interwar years

they were all well and modernly organized the schools, prepa¬
ring for their walls ardent patriots, honest citizens, intellectually and professionally
prepared officers.
