Après une formation en photographie, il a développé en relativement peu de temps une oeuvre cohérente, complexe, d'une intelligence caustique et délibérément provocatrice. Si ses images sont souvent somptueuses, saturées de couleur, et d'une beauté surprenante, elles nous déconcertent aussi, nous mettent mal a'l'aise et soulèvent au passage des questions concernant le fonctionnement de l'image et la construction de la subjectivité dans la culture contemporaine.
