adam_text	Doplnění a upřesnění poznatků v oblasti studia hrobů a pohřbů 1/ dosud známý rozsah některých pohřebišť na Moravě (o maximálně několika málo desítkách hrobů) mohl být podstatně větší (ale existují zcela jistě i malá pohřebiště) 2/ pohřebiště jsou zřejmě strukturována do (rodinných?) skupin, jejich hodnocení je však často ztíženo jejich torzovitostí a neuceleností 3/ poměrně často se objevuje staré sekundární narušování hrobů (ze zištných či rituálních důvodů) 4/ je pravděpodobné, že se vnitřní hrobové konstrukce (komory obložené dřevěnými deskami) vyskytují daleko častěji, než jsme dříve předpokládali 5/ je zřejmé, že hroby s kruhovými žlábky reprezentují složitější nadzemní stavbu nad hrobem - ohrady z vertikálně postavených kůlů kolem dřevěné hrobky; v hrobkách pohřbení jedinci mívají bohatou výbavu, jsou ale i případy velmi málo vybavených hrobů 6/ u pohřebišť mohou být nadzemní kůlové stavby - snad s rituálním účelem Doplnění a upřesnění poznatků v oblasti chronologie 1/ je vysoce pravděpodobné, že se osady postupně posunovaly v daném regionu, nejsme ale zatím schopni definovat jejich vzájemný chronologický poměr II pohřebiště Hoštice I, Hostíce IV a Ivanovice VI můžeme zařadit do II. nálezové skupiny, ale otázka relativní chronologie zůstává otevřená; radiokarbonová data snad třídobé (typologické) členění období KZP na Moravě podporují 3/ všechny prostorové skupiny na pohřebišti Hoštice I se zřejmě vyvíjely paralelně SUMMARY Conclusion In 2002 the Institute of Archaeological Heritage Care Brno (IAHC - ÚAPP) conducted a research of the BBC burial ground at Hoštice I (157 graves) which is much larger in size than all known BBC burial grounds in Central Europe (with the exception of Hungary). In addition, two smaller burial grounds were found (Hoštice IV and Ivanovice VI). The first and most important objective of the research was to publish a detailed description of graves and burials, as well as artefacts retrieved. Other objectives included the evaluation of the finds and their mutual relations. We focused especially on the Moravian contexts, thereby creating a „detailed insight" of sorts into the entire „Danubian group" of the Bell Beaker Culture. However, we determined link and relations which are important in European contexts. Therefore, the main scope of our works consisted in complex (and multidisciplinary) evaluation of the burial grounds in question. Our limits included financial resources available (for example, it would have been more convenient to carry out an analysis of more radiocarbon data or to disseminate promising results of the anthropological research) or time. In addition, we had to consider the acceptability of the size of the publication. We preferred working with specific material, extensive graphic representation (drawings, schematic drawings, reconstructions, charts, tables, maps and plans) or the publishing of yet unpublished finds. It is evident now that drawings of graves and finds are not enough - which is why both the catalogue and evaluation contain many photos. We paid attention to the publishing of artefacts and situations in scale as necessary. In the process of the study of the Moravian context of the burial grounds in question, our work was based on our previous publications, our archives and yet unpublished manuscripts. We carried out new typological classifications of most artefacts. In the process of evaluation of the material took into consideration the process of archaeologisation and taphonomical processes. These processes have proved effective and decisive for the sake of correct understanding of numerous phenomena Furthermore, it is evident that even typology has its boundaries. This fact directly affects our ability with regard to inner chronology of the BBC period in Moravia We are therefore forced to work with „groups of finds". In addition, it will be necessary to take into consideration „functional sets" - i.e. the selection of artefacts used in graves in the past. It is necessary to expect that some artefacts and parts of burials and graves have not been preserved. 570 We found out that we must be much more careful when it comes to making historical conclusions. It appears that material fragmentation does not enable us to assess the social structure relevantly (as well as chronology). Following a comparison with other larger burial grounds, we were able to identify their „group nature" (possibly related to family-based structures?). Social differentiation is probably related to the role of individuals within the community. The causes of the differentiated grave construction and arrangement and equipment of burials are yet unknown. We do not think the above was caused by the wealth of the deceased or external influences. Specification of knowledge and research findings in terms of artefacts 1/ smaller „jewels" probably served as amulets (V-shaped buttons, amber and metal items) - often in graves of women 2/ wrist-guards, daggers, chipped industry sets - they probably define the social roles of certain men 3/ some children have certain attributes of adults (smaller jewels and weapons) 4/ in our opinion, copper was thought to be one of precious metals, just like gold, silver and electron 5/ number and types of vessels in graves does not refer to the „wealth" of the deceased; however, it is unclear how and why particular vessels were selected; vessels probably formed eating and drinking sets (functional sets) 6/ as indicator of different role of some persons can be consider non-ceramic artefacts and decorated bell beakers 7/ vessels found in graves and settlements are of the same nature; the difference consists in the quantitative structure of shapes - the number of certain shapes found at burial grounds is determined by functional sets (i.e. the selection of vessels chosen to be placed in graves) 8/ there are various traseological marks on the artefacts - these marks serve as a brand new source of knowledge 9/ it is evident that raw materials and artefacts used to be traded over long distances - the issues of counter-values and traders must be considered Specification of knowledge and research findings in terms of the study of graves and burials 1/ the size of some burial grounds in Moravia, as we know them today (no more than a few dozen), could have been significantly larger (but small burial grounds certainly exist too) 2/ burial grounds are probably structured into (family-based?) groups; however, the evaluation of these groups is hindered by fragmentation 3/ old secondary disturbances occur relatively often (either mercenary or for ritual purposes) 4/ it is likely that inner grave constructions (chambers padded with wooden boards) occur more often than we expected 5/ it is evident that graves with circular ditches represent more complex above-ground structures above graves - palisades of vertical posts around a wooden tomb; individuals buried in tombs are usually wealthy, but in some instances there were graves with few items inside 6/ above-ground structures might exist on burial grounds - probably for ritual purposes Specification of knowledge and research findings in terms of chronology 1/ it is very likely that settlements (villages) moved around their respective regions;
