SUMMARY
There are educational, research and methodical works of the
well-known Russian teacher and musicologist professor Mark
Berlyanchik presented in this book. He is the Honored Art Worker
of the Russian Federation, the doctor of art criticism, the full
member of the International academy of information.
Articles and speeches have been written for
35
years of
pedagogical, scientific and organizational activities in Novosibirsk
and Magnitogorsk conservatories, in the other Russian musical
institutes of higher education, and lately at Central Music School
of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. They are dedicated to
the most actual problems of giving the young generation access to
values of the world art culture and the vital problems of vocational
training of musicians-performers, in particular, the violinists.
The material stuff of the book is located in three parts. The
first one, Art education , contains works in which questions of
the role of art in education of children and youth, in their becoming
creative people are regarded as a necessary component of art
culture development of a society, as realization of the state cultural
policy. The attention here is pointed at striking examples of the
non-standard approach to comprehension of the Art World at early
age, on interesting forms of art studies in various regions of Russia,
and also on different kinds of art activity. In particular, the model
of the integrated children s school of arts and efficiency of its
updating is discussed.

the idea of the
author concentrates on a problem of overcoming the contradictions
which have occurred in a modern performing art

global growth of
the technical skills of musicians-instrumentalists and considerable
backlog of the art, poetic elements, decrease in care of performing

originality, art of interpretation. In this connection questions of
performers hearing development and adequate perception of music,
the conscious and intuitive approach in working on a piece of music,
etc. are discussed. A number of articles and texts of the performances
published in the given part is devoted to the analysis of theoretical,
methodical and practical opinions of the Russian scientific and
outstanding performing musicians.
The largest part of the collection The violin pedagogic
contains the results of the author s researches, which are leaning,
on the one hand, on the use of modern musical science,
psychologies and psychophysiology, aesthetics, art criticism and
culturology, on the other hand

on general conclusion of
outstanding performers experience and teachers of the past and
the present. In articles and methodical essays ways and means of
improving primary stages of violin-mastery are developed in
details. New approaches to the decision of the basic problems of
education and training of the violinist are discussed, such as system
development of abilities and musical-art thinking, the expedient
organization of performing movements, formation of sound
qualities, virtuosities, expressive melodies intoning and so forth
This stuff as a whole generalizes the known achievement of Russian
violin school, takes up problems and ways of its further perfection.
Notes and responses of the author are published in the
Appendix, concerning various questions of a musical and art life
in different regions of Russia, performances of the giving concerts
performers, new forms of children s musical education, etc.
The Collection of works of Professor Mark Berlyanchik is
intended, first of all, to teachers of musical schools, colleges and
high schools, pupils and students of musical educational
institutions of all types. Some articles can be read with interest by
everyone who is excited of the academic art in present period.
