The formation of the state policy s new
model in the sphere of freedom of conscience and its realization at the re¬
gional level (on the example of the Republic of Bashkortostan).The book
considers a new model of the state policy in the sphere of freedom of con¬
science at federal and regional levels in Russia.
Chapter one looks at the theoretical questions of essence and definition of
the main term and concept a state policy in the sphere of freedom of con¬
science on the basis of the analysis of the international-legal base and the
Russian legislation. It identifies the subject, object and general principles of
the Russian state policy in this sphere, as well as considers the various mod¬
els of policy in the sphere of freedom of conscience in some foreign coun¬
tries.
Chapter two deals with the process of formation and development of the
policy in the sphere of freedom of conscience in the modern Russia at vari¬
ous stages. It proves that process of transition from separation model to co¬
operation has been realized. The positive and negative sides of this process
are under study. Particular attention is given to the issue of the government
policy towards religious organizations in one of the region of Russia
-
in the
Republic of Bashkortostan. The author reveals the features of this policy.
