The convening of the Antifascist Assembly of People's Liberation of Ma¬
cedonia (AAPLM) as well as the highest legislative and the executive branch of
Macedonia and its historic decisions that the Macedonian state was nascent- Fe¬
deral Democratic Macedonia, gave a strong impetus to merge the Macedonia re¬
bellion in all-national and for its successful and triumphant end. In all this acti¬
vity the avant-garde role of the
KPM

and people's
mobilizator.

units of Groups Armies "E" from Greece.
The attempt from Germany after the relegation of Bulgaria from the triple
contract to form an independent Macedonian state with enthronement on Van-
cho Mihajlov, had failed.
In the second half of September
1944,
along communications in Macedo¬
nia, the units of PL army in Macedonia, respectively in the Bitola's area, fought
constant battles with German units from the Group Annies "E". Direct was rela¬
tionship of the forces, as a larger composition, n, and in terms of military equip¬
ment (the armed). The great armada had retreated with more than
400-450
thou¬
sand soldiers armed with modern weapons (infantry, tanks, cannons, motomeha-
nizational units etc). At that major military force the units of PL
W
and PD of
Macedonia had opposed, at that time, about
70.00
fighters, mostly armed with
weapons downloaded from a hostile occupying army. That fighters had high mi¬
litary morale and patriotic spirit.
The Strategic objective of fighting wit the German forces from Greece
which
dérivâtes
from Greece, was, in applying of all forms of partisan warfare
tactics (ambushes, surprise attacks, difficulties of communications, destructi¬
on of bridges etc.), to slow down their extraction and to cause losses of as a li¬
ving force and just as a military equipment. With that goal around
Prilep

Tikvesh (Povardarje) fought the units of the First Macedonian, respectively

of Macedonia was divided into three corpus areas that were larger than the ope¬

nurtured in the units of PLAWM, as with the population where they were co¬
ming in the settlements. People's meetings and rallies were always ended with
the implementation of Cultural-education programs.
Especially important were the activities in the field of education (primary,
secondary, higher), and the activities in the culture were established publishing
companies, national theatres, libraries, national universities, associations of wri¬
ters, musicians, artists, amateur cultural-artistic societies etc.
