Zusammenfassung:The Tukano are a group of tribes that occupy the tropical forest areas of the Comisaría del Vaupés within southeastern Colombia and northwestern Brazil. This file consists of 17 documents covering the time period from 1939 to 1980. Silva's ethnographic account is the most comprehensive. The three Fulop publications, used in conjunction with those by Sorensen and Reichel-Dolmatoff provide supplemental data on kinship terminology, folktales and myths, cosmology, shamanism, agriculture, and multilingualism and tribal exogamy. The remaining documents relate to the Cubeo, Bará, Makuna, Desana, Barasana, and Wanano
