DARK SECRETS DIGGING INTO THE EARTH TO UNCOVER THE DEAD MEANS DIGGING
INTO AN UGLY PAST AND DIGGING INTO THE LIVES OF THE SURVIVORS AS WELL.

PEACE IN GUATEMALA HAS BROUGHT RELIGIOUS FREEDOM TO THE MAYA FOR THE
FIRST TIME IN FIVE HUNDRED YEARS. NOW THEY WORSHIP AT THEIR OWN ALTARS,
PRAY TO THEIR OWN GODS.
OUT OF THE WOODS HOW CAN A BRAVE REBEL BE TRANSFORMED INTO A GOOD
CITIZEN? FOR YEARS THE GUERRILLA FIGHTERS LIVED A PERILOUS LIFE IN THE
JUNGLE. NOW THEY HAVE TO ADAPT TO THE UNKNOWN HAZARDS OF CIVILIAN
EXISTENCE.
THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE SOMEWHERE IN GUATEMALA. A PATRON
SAINT, A MARKET DAY, OR JUST AN IMPORTANT DATE ON THE MAYA CALENDAR.
