answers the paradoxical question of how to stabilize a state
through external intervention without destabilizing sovereignty. She
examines the justifications for international and regional interventions in
the cases of Liberia, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Nina Wilén
is Post-Doctoral Researcher in the World Politics Department
at the Belgian Royal Military Academy, Belgium. She is also a scientific
collaborator at
REPI,
Université
Libre
de Bruxelles,
Belgium, where she
previously worked as a researcher in the Department of Political Science.
