has been in teaching since
1978.
He has
lectured extensively and conducted several educational
workshops on Orthognathic Surgery. He is the architect of
FACE (Forum for the Advancement of Craniofacial Esthetics),
a continuing educational program in Orthognathic Surgery. He
has published many articles in national and international
journals. He has authored three more books viz. Injuries of Maxillofacial
Region and Cysts of Maxillofacial Region and Orthognathic Surgery: Esthetic
Surgery of the Face. He was the editor of Indian Journal of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery and has served as the president of the Association of Oral
and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI). He was also the president of
Indian Society for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ISFPRS).
Presently, he is the chairman of the Indian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgeons (IBOMS). He is currently serving as Professor and Head of the
Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and as Principal, Mar Baselios
Dental College, Kothamangalam, Kerala, India.
