and abolished as a result of the last Polish cutting was an
educational institution, which played an important role in the development of
military education, professional training of military personnel, government
officials but also influenced the intellectual life not only capital but also
throughout the country.
The nature of the Cadet Corps was a secular education
-
for those
times very progressive. Through the efforts of the organization in a short pe¬
riod of Knights entered school to become like a modern-functioning institu¬
tions of its kind in Europe. It was a new grade school on the map of the Re¬
public. School of Knights had a twofold objective: to provide highly
qualified officers of the army and also brought up in the spirit of patriotism
and progress of the citizens. Employed in the Corps of teaching staff and
educational sought in the walls of the school new ideas of the Enlighten¬
ment, a sound knowledge, a great effort in the process of teaching and edu¬
cation of cadets.
The School of the Thirty Years Knight left a lasting mark. Raised
a number of heroes, reliable officers, gave Poland qualified civil servants
and employees of schools as its alumni have made their undeniable contribu¬
tion to the work of internal reconstruction and defense of national values af¬
ter the collapse of the state.
Patterns of education developed in walls of the first in the history of
Polish military academy, continued and enriched by the Polish educational
system in the nineteenth century, and some of them survived, especially in
higher military to modern times, acting in a model worthy of imitation.
