L analyse du rythme des vers et des strophes conduit parfois à relire Rimbaud autrement qu on ne l a d abord lu en se laissant porter par des habitudes rythmiques postérieures à son temps. Méthodiques et plutôt rythmiques, ou centrées sur l interprétation d un seul poème, la plupart des études rassemblées ici peuvent se lire indépendamment, mais convergent pour favoriser de telles relectures, l accès au rythme pouvant conditionner l accès au sens.
