Fundamentals of Performance Evaluation of Computer and Telecommunication Systems

Fundamentals of Performance Evaluation of Computer and Telecommunication Systems

excellent reference for practicing engineers and scientists.
MOHAMMAD S. OBAIDAT, recognized around the world for his pioneering and lasting
contributions to several areas including performance evaluation of computer and tele¬
communication systems, modeling and simulation, telecommunications, and networks
and information security, is a Professor of Computer Science at Monmouth University,
New Jersey. He is the editor in chief/editor of many international journals and has
chaired numerous international conferences. Dr. Obaidat is the author of several books
and numerous publications. He is founder of the prestigious International Symposium
on Performance Evaluation of Computer
&
Telecommunication Systems (SPECTS). Dr.
Obaidat obtained his PhD from The Ohio State University and has received many awards.
Recently. Dr. Obaidat received the Society for Modeling and Simulation International's
(SCS)
prestigious McLeod Founder's Award in recognition to his outstanding technical
and professional contributions to modeling and simulation. He is currently the President
of
SCS.
Dr. Obaidat is a Fellow of the
SCS
and a Fellow of the IEEE.
NOUREDDINE A. BOUDRIGA received his PhD in mathematics from University of
Pans XI, France, and in computer science from University of Tunis II. He is currently
with the University of 7th November at Carthage. Tunisia, where he is a Professor of
Telecommunications and Director of Research Laboratory on Networks
&
Security at
SUPCOM. Dr. Boudriga received the Tunisian Presidential Award in Scientific Research
tand Technology (July
2004).
He has authored or coauthored many publications.
