Klára Móricz scrutinizes concepts of Jewish identity and reorders ideas about twentieth-century Jewish music in three case studies: first, Russian Jewish composers of the first two decades of the twentieth century; second, the Swiss American Ernest Bloch; and third, Arnold Schoenberg.
