of the State Archives of Kherson
Oblast

is issued according to the program The archival assets of Ukraine

fonds
are included in the register, which contain the
documents for
1721-1976
years. All indicated inventories were improved in due time
and are in satisfactory physical condition.
The descriptive articles are placed in ascending order of
fonds
numbers. The
absent numbers belonged to the
fonds,
which were added to other
fonds,
transmitted to
other archives, destroyed during the World War II or missed as a result of technical
errors.
The headline of a descriptive article is, in fact, a number of fond and its last
title (full information concerning renamings is contained in a new version of the fond
catalog, including in the electronic version). The quantity of acts and date of the
documents are indicated. The summary to the particular groups of documents are
placed in the course of their relevance inside a descriptive article. The registered
documents are the administrative documents, at their availability, which received
from higher institutions; the next group is the administrative documents of the
establishment. The largest file (according to the volume) is compounded by the
documents formed in the process of clerical work of the establishment, in which the
activity of fond founder, types and methods of his operation are shown, as well as
correspondence. The separate group is compounded by, in certain cases, the
documents, which don t belong to the fond founder or drop out of chronological
limits of the basic composition. The annotated and personal documents (lists,
reports, personal records etc.), as well as financial documentation. If the inventories
of
fonds
contain structure of institutions, it is represented inside a descriptive
article. The majority of documents are written in the languages, which were spread
in that time on the given territory

in Russian and partially in Ukrainian. The
information about documents in other languages is placed in the end of a
descriptive article. The presence of unique documents is also indicated.
With the purpose of facilitation of search of the particular information to the
text of the register indexes are compounded: nominal, geographic, subject, thematic

inventories, and also index of establishment
