Beschreibung:A reissue, with cancel title page, of the 1619 edition, which was printed by William Stansby; the title page was printed by Bernard Alsop and Thomas Fawcet (STC). Variant: cancel title has "degeneravion". - Apparently D1 is a cancel in all copies--STC. - Reproduction of the original in the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign Campus). Library. - Running title reads: Microcosmus, or, the historie of man. - STC (2nd ed.), 20504. - Signatures: pi1 [par].4 ([par.]1,2 signed [par.]3,4) A-D (+-D1) E-3F 3G2 (-3G2). Since John King died in 1621, it is assumed the dedication printed as 3G2 should not be bound in this issue. - The words "wonders .. regeneration." are bracketed together on the title page
