Variant: first and/or third sub title pages have Preston's name in full. - "The doctrine of selfe-deniall" is a different version of "Grace to the humble". - Alsop's and Fawcet's names from STC. - Appears at reel 737 (Folger Shakespeare Library copy) and at reel 1183 (Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery copy). - Identified as STC 20249a on UMI microfilm reel 737, and as STC 20280 on reel 1183. - J.P. = John Preston. - Quire 2L is wrongly imposed in the two copies reported. - Reproductions of the originals in the Folger Shakespeare Library and the Henry E.
