Beschreibung:Identified as STC 19123a at reel 660:7. - Imperfect at reel 660:7: A2-7 possibly lacking; G1, G3-5, I7, K2-4 and P8 lacking. - Initials. - Numerous errors in foliation. - Publication date from STC. - Reproductions of the originals in the Folger Shakespeare Library (reel 660:7) and the British Library (reel 175:23). - STC (2nd ed.), 19123. - Signatures: A-2NÖ 2O. - Title pages of the two copies vary; contents identical except that at 660:7 the preliminaries appear to have been printed without the dedicatory epistle, and those leaves lacking at 660:7 as noted. Copy at 1754:23 has title printed within border (McK. & Ferg. 125) as follows: The palace of pleasure beautified adorned and well furnished vvith pleasaunt histories and excellent nouels, selected out of diuers good and commendable authours.
