Положительно можно утверждать, что в океане полевых исследований территории Евра¬
зии, проводимых в последние
с прошлым болгарского народа. Многие из этих родовых очагов тлеют и по сей день. Именно о
них идет речь в этой книге, основанной исключительно на реально существующих доказательс¬
твах о наших предках.
Долгое возвращение болгар на прародину начинается в конце
исследования описывают археологические, письменные, этнографические и лингвистические
источники, категорично свидетельствующие об ином виде государственности и культуры, не
имеющем аналогов на Старом континенте. Известные к тому времени труды отечественных ис¬
следователей и европейских ученых содержат лишь намеки о том, что народ болгар является
сложным конгломератов этносов. Один за другим на свет появляются более
менований неславянских племен, оставивших след в болгарской народности.
Оказывается, болгары, основавшие государство на Балканах, вовсе не были небольшой
группой кочевников, а мощным единением народов. Следуя их маршрутом, постепенно прихо¬
дим к заключению, что они продвигаются по трем горным и четырем водосборным зонам, что
нетипично для степных и кочевых народов. Местонахождение их обиталищ, по мнению древних
авторов, это Памир, Гиндукуш/Амударья, Сырдарья; Кавказ/Днепр, Дон, Прикаспие, Причерно-
морие; Урал/Волга, Кама; Дунай и Причерноморие/Балканы. Более того, болгары облагоражи¬
вают свои поселения. Основными признаками цивилизации считаются: ирригация, мелиорация,
гигиена, умеренный климат, оседлость и земледелие, стационарное скотоводство, строительст¬
во городов и укреплений. Документы и находки обнажают скрытые за пеленой времени целых
семь государственных объединений
кое, а также Старую Великую, Кавказскую и Среднеазиатскую Болгарии. По меньшей мере еще
дюжину возможных их временных обиталищ можно обнаружить в древних источниках. Карта
болгарского присутствия на лице Евразии набухает и вероятный ареал их физического пребыва¬
ния и культурного влияния расширяется от Японского моря до Атлантическоо океана и от Се¬
верного моря до Центральной Индии.
Этот этнос, один из немногих в истории Евразии, практикует комбинированное хозяйст¬
во. Болгары выживают благодаря организации и дисциплине при их принудительных переселе¬
ниях и гибкости по отношению к переменам среды, а также благодаря приспособимости к кли¬
матическим воздействиям и наличию запасов на время войн и переселений. Основной вывод
состоит в том, что болгары могли жить и оседло и лагерями, подобно кочевникам. Они могли
быть и скотоводами, и земледельцами, и охотниками, и рыбаками, и равнинными и речными и
приморскими жителями, а также горным народом, каким, как многократно отмечают индийс¬
кие, византийские и арабские источники, и был он на отчей земле.

ний. Болгары всегда передвигаются „по окраинам крупных географических, политических и
культурных ареалов: Азия и Европа; высокогорье и равнина; Персия и Индия; Китайская импе¬
рия и степи; „Скифский квадрат и Византия; останки Римской империя и „Славянское море .
Следуя этой тактике, они несколько раз создают государственность, одна из которой, располо¬
женная на крупнейшем европейском перекрестке, существует и по сей день. Решающими в этом
отношении оказываются военные умения болгар. Отмеченные многократно после первого по¬
явления на карте Европы, болгары получают заслуженную славу непобедимого народа. Чисто
статистически, годами регистрированного их присутствия можно считать период с
года основания Дунайской Болгарии как прямого территориального и владетельского наследия
Кавказской и Старой Великой Болгарии.

и озерам, сохранившим свои болгарские наименования и этнокультурную идентичность на про¬

болгар со стороны древних цивилизаций полуострова Хиндустан, как когда-то называли его сов¬
ременники. Собранные свидетельства неоспоримо доказывают многовековое присутствие бол¬
гар в этом огромном регионе. А поскольку Евразия является колыбелью нескольких мировых
цивилизаций, то, прослеживая развитие этих цивилизаций, исследование неизбежно приводит к
открытию доказательств участия болгарского этноса в данном процессе. Карта доказанного
присутствия болгар на полуострове, а также на прилегающих азиатских территориях будет рас¬
ширена и максимально конкретизирована, сообразно свидетельства, которыми располагает нас¬
тоящее исследование.
Методы поисков и сборов материала для этой книги могут быть разделены на четыре
группы:

Методы перечислены согласно приоритетам. Наибольшая часть изложения базируется
именно на фактах, отмеченных, зарегистрированных и собранных на месте автором исследова¬
ния. Они могут подвергаться толкованиям, но не могут быть оспорены, так как являются реа¬
лиями, сохранившимися до наших дней. Сведения информаторов подобраны согласно принципу
верификации. Каждое из них проверяется лично автором и регистрируется в надлежащем поряд¬
ке. Таким образом, эти сведения становятся частью личных наблюдений автора и полевых ис¬
следований. То же самое относится и к большей части литературных источников, картам, видео
и интернет информации. Единственным отступлением от этого принцип является пункт, касаю¬
щийся путевых заметок и дневников экспедиций. Такое доверие оказано большинством авторов
этим дневники по двум причинам. С одной стороны

SUMMARY
We can positively assert that within the ocean of field research on the territory of Eurasia for the last
years there is a sea of documentary evidence referring to the past of the Bulgarian kin. Yet today, many
of these foci still burn or smolder. This book is namely about them. The present work rests only on gen¬
uine evidence, existing even today, about our ancestors.
The long return to the land of origin of Bulgarians started at the end of 19th century. First researches
reveal archaeological, written, ethnographic and linguistic evidence explicitly underlying a unique state¬
hood and culture, second to none in the Old Continent. The works of home researchers and European
scientists known by that time provide only hints that Bulgarian people is a complex conglomeration of
nations. One by one, more than
nationality see the light of day.
Apparently, the Bulgarians who established their state in the Balkans were not a mere Nomad group but
a powerful united people. Tracing their march, we can conclude that they moved along three mountain¬
ous and four ambient water-bearing areas, and were no typical wandering or steppes people. The loca¬
tion of their residences were, according to ancient authors, the Pamir Mountains, Hindu Kush/Amu
Darya, Syr Darya; Caucasus/ the Dnepr River, the Don River, the Caspian Sea Area, Black Sea Area;
Ural/the Volga River, the Kama River; the Danube, and the Black Sea Area/the Balkans. It was found
that they improved their areas of residence. The marks of their civilisation were: irrigation, melioration,
hygiene, temperate climate, settled way of
towns and strongholds. Out of the shroud of time, in the documents and findings, as many as seven state
formations
Great Bulgaria, Caucasian Bulgaria, and Middle-Asia Bulgaria. At least a dozen of possible areas of set¬
tlement can be found with ancient authors. The map of Bulgarian presence on the face of Eurasia is
swelling and the possible area of their physical presence and cultural influence stretches from the
Japanese Sea to the Atlantic Ocean and from the Northern Sea to Central India.
This nation is one of the few in the history of Eurasia to practice combined economy. The survival of
Bulgarians roots in the organisation and discipline during forced migration and the flexibility to changes
in the environment, their adaptability to climate impact, and keeping supply reserves during warfare and
during migration. The conclusion was that Bulgarians could live settled in camps, as well as
they were stock-breeders and tillers, hunters and fishermen, both plain people living close to rivers and
close to sea shores, and mountaineers (which was underlined time and again in Indian, Byzantine, and
Arab sources)
For
first European peoples to create statehood surviving even today. Nevertheless, there is plenty of unsolved
scientific issues, the most important of them being the issue about the genesis of Bulgarian kin, its lan¬
guage and land of origin. The purpose of this book is to reveal and structure evidence on this issue.
The present research pays particular attention to the uniqueness of Bulgarian migrations. Bulgarians have
always moved on the edge of great geographic, political and cultural areas: Asia and Europe; the high
mountain and the plain; Persia and India; the Chinese
and Byzantium; the remains of the Roman Empire and the Slavic Sea . Using this tactics they managed
to create their own statehood several times, one of which differentiated on the greatest European cross¬
roads still exists at present. The military skills of Bulgarians were crucial. Evidenced many times after
being mentioned for the first time on the map of Europe, they boasted the glory of an invincible people.
Enlisted only statistically, the years of their presence were from
Bulgaria was established as a direct territorial and rulers successor of Caucasian Bulgaria and Old Great
Bulgaria.
Bulgarians learned to fight so well against Persians, Indians, hunnu and Huns, Chinese, Sogdians
(юечжи),
Byzantines, etc. Their strategy in numerous fights for survival was the principle of joint efforts. It is pre¬
served even today on the national coat of arms of the Republic of Bulgaria: Union is Strength . The final
search is aimed at the unique names of Bulgarians
been neighbouring them for millennia.

The present book tries to give new details on the uniqueness of the Bulgarian kin. Moving along the broad
roads and the uneven mountain tracks of Eurasia, the research intends to take the reader areas, towns,
mountains and lakes, still existing today and having preserved their Bulgarian names and ethnic cultural
identity for millennia. Of particular interest to us will be the influence the Bulgarians subdued from the
civilisations in the Hindustan Peninsula, as it is now called by its present-day residents. The collected evi¬
dence proves unarguably the Bulgarian presence for many centuries in this vast region. And since Eurasia
is the cradle of several world civilisations, tracing their development will unveil the participation of
Bulgarian nations in this process. The map of proven Bulgarian presence in the peninsula and the Asian
territories beyond it will be expanded and specified as much as possible in accordance with the evidence
made available to the present research.
The methods for searching and collecting the materials in this book can be divided into four groups:

These items have been arranged by priority. The largest share in the body text belongs to the facts
observed, registered and collected by the author of the research. They may be interpreted but not argued
since they are realities yet remaining intact today. The pieces of evidence from informers were selected
based on verification. Each and every piece has been personally verified by the author and properly reg¬
istered. In this respect, such evidence becomes part of personal observations and field research. The same
applies to parts of evidence from literature, maps, video and Internet information. The only retreat from
this principle is on the item concerning the travel logs from expeditions. The authors of these logs have
been granted confidence for two reasons. On the one hand the authority these researchers boast in the
world of science due to the impartiality and precision of their field notes. On the other hand, there is prac¬
tical impossibility for these statements to be verified
visits or research; hard accessibility or lack of time to reach them and, last but not least, financial diffi¬
culties for such long and expensive trips. As it is constructed, the research is of definitive documentary
nature. It articulates certain things with the voice of some billion of population that has preserved the
Bulgarian trail in the ran of historic cataclysms.

цивилизаций, то, прослеживая развитие этих цивилизаций, исследование неизбежно приводит к
открытию доказательств участия болгарского этноса в данном процессе. Карта доказанного
присутствия болгар на полуострове, а также на прилегающих азиатских территориях будет рас¬
ширена и максимально конкретизирована, сообразно свидетельства, которыми располагает нас¬
тоящее исследование.

Методы перечислены согласно приоритетам. Наибольшая часть изложения базируется
именно на фактах, отмеченных, зарегистрированных и собранных на месте автором исследова¬
ния. Они могут подвергаться толкованиям, но не могут быть оспорены, так как являются реа¬
лиями, сохранившимися до наших дней. Сведения информаторов подобраны согласно принципу
верификации. Каждое из них проверяется лично автором и регистрируется в надлежащем поряд¬
ке. Таким образом, эти сведения становятся частью личных наблюдений автора и полевых ис¬
следований. То же самое относится и к большей части литературных источников, картам, видео
и интернет информации. Единственным отступлением от этого принцип является пункт, касаю¬
щийся путевых заметок и дневников экспедиций. Такое доверие оказано большинством авторов
этим дневники по двум причинам. С одной стороны

SUMMARY
We can positively assert that within the ocean of field research on the territory of Eurasia for the last
years there is a sea of documentary evidence referring to the past of the Bulgarian kin. Yet today, many
of these foci still burn or smolder. This book is namely about them. The present work rests only on gen¬
uine evidence, existing even today, about our ancestors.
The long return to the land of origin of Bulgarians started at the end of 19th century. First researches
reveal archaeological, written, ethnographic and linguistic evidence explicitly underlying a unique state¬
hood and culture, second to none in the Old Continent. The works of home researchers and European
scientists known by that time provide only hints that Bulgarian people is a complex conglomeration of
nations. One by one, more than
nationality see the light of day.
Apparently, the Bulgarians who established their state in the Balkans were not a mere Nomad group but
a powerful united people. Tracing their march, we can conclude that they moved along three mountain¬
ous and four ambient water-bearing areas, and were no typical wandering or steppes people. The loca¬
tion of their residences were, according to ancient authors, the Pamir Mountains, Hindu Kush/Amu
Darya, Syr Darya; Caucasus/ the Dnepr River, the Don River, the Caspian Sea Area, Black Sea Area;
Ural/the Volga River, the Kama River; the Danube, and the Black Sea Area/the Balkans. It was found
that they improved their areas of residence. The marks of their civilisation were: irrigation, melioration,
hygiene, temperate climate, settled way of
towns and strongholds. Out of the shroud of time, in the documents and findings, as many as seven state
formations
Great Bulgaria, Caucasian Bulgaria, and Middle-Asia Bulgaria. At least a dozen of possible areas of set¬
tlement can be found with ancient authors. The map of Bulgarian presence on the face of Eurasia is
swelling and the possible area of their physical presence and cultural influence stretches from the
Japanese Sea to the Atlantic Ocean and from the Northern Sea to Central India.
This nation is one of the few in the history of Eurasia to practice combined economy. The survival of
Bulgarians roots in the organisation and discipline during forced migration and the flexibility to changes
in the environment, their adaptability to climate impact, and keeping supply reserves during warfare and
during migration. The conclusion was that Bulgarians could live settled in camps, as well as
they were stock-breeders and tillers, hunters and fishermen, both plain people living close to rivers and
close to sea shores, and mountaineers (which was underlined time and again in Indian, Byzantine, and
Arab sources)
For
first European peoples to create statehood surviving even today. Nevertheless, there is plenty of unsolved
scientific issues, the most important of them being the issue about the genesis of Bulgarian kin, its lan¬
guage and land of origin. The purpose of this book is to reveal and structure evidence on this issue.
The present research pays particular attention to the uniqueness of Bulgarian migrations. Bulgarians have
always moved on the edge of great geographic, political and cultural areas: Asia and Europe; the high
mountain and the plain; Persia and India; the Chinese
and Byzantium; the remains of the Roman Empire and the 'Slavic Sea'. Using this tactics they managed
to create their own statehood several times, one of which differentiated on the greatest European cross¬
roads still exists at present. The military skills of Bulgarians were crucial. Evidenced many times after
being mentioned for the first time on the map of Europe, they boasted the glory of an invincible people.
Enlisted only statistically, the years of their presence were from
Bulgaria was established as a direct territorial and rulers' successor of Caucasian Bulgaria and Old Great
Bulgaria.
Bulgarians learned to fight so well against Persians, Indians, hunnu and Huns, Chinese, Sogdians
(юечжи),
Byzantines, etc. Their strategy in numerous fights for survival was the principle of joint efforts. It is pre¬
served even today on the national coat of arms of the Republic of Bulgaria: "Union is Strength". The final
search is aimed at the unique names of Bulgarians
been neighbouring them for millennia.

The present book tries to give new details on the uniqueness of the Bulgarian kin. Moving along the broad
roads and the uneven mountain tracks of Eurasia, the research intends to take the reader areas, towns,
mountains and lakes, still existing today and having preserved their Bulgarian names and ethnic cultural
identity for millennia. Of particular interest to us will be the influence the Bulgarians subdued from the
civilisations in the Hindustan Peninsula, as it is now called by its present-day residents. The collected evi¬
dence proves unarguably the Bulgarian presence for many centuries in this vast region. And since Eurasia
is the cradle of several world civilisations, tracing their development will unveil the participation of
Bulgarian nations in this process. The map of proven Bulgarian presence in the peninsula and the Asian
territories beyond it will be expanded and specified as much as possible in accordance with the evidence
made available to the present research.
The methods for searching and collecting the materials in this book can be divided into four groups:

These items have been arranged by priority. The largest share in the body text belongs to the facts
observed, registered and collected by the author of the research. They may be interpreted but not argued
since they are realities yet remaining intact today. The pieces of evidence from informers were selected
based on verification. Each and every piece has been personally verified by the author and properly reg¬
istered. In this respect, such evidence becomes part of personal observations and field research. The same
applies to parts of evidence from literature, maps, video and Internet information. The only retreat from
this principle is on the item concerning the travel logs from expeditions. The authors of these logs have
been granted confidence for two reasons. On the one hand the authority these researchers boast in the
world of science due to the impartiality and precision of their field notes. On the other hand, there is prac¬
tical impossibility for these statements to be verified
visits or research; hard accessibility or lack of time to reach them and, last but not least, financial diffi¬
culties for such long and expensive trips. As it is constructed, the research is of definitive documentary
nature. It articulates certain things with the voice of some billion of population that has preserved the
Bulgarian trail in the ran of historic cataclysms.
