The second edition of this paper was studied basically on a wide bibliography
and on a minutely field research (questionnaires, social investigation, documentary
information). The focus is to present a whole study, emphasizing
Western Economical Region of Romania, the role of DKMT
the ethnical identity, new conceptual aspects, the social expel of the gypsies issue, the
multi-ethnic and religious style of the region and a study of the geographical events in
their progressive evolution, for each area specific to a certain ethnic and religious group
and to each electoral event. If the issues concerning the nationality and the religion have
been studied for a long time, then the electoral behaviour of the population of
would have been a new subject in the geographical research, imposing a great effort
under all aspects.
The historical and geographical evolution of the population from
based on the statistical facts dating from the end of the 19th century till
on a close analysis established in
with scientific objectiveness, from the analysis of the whole region to the phenomenon
specific to the rural environment.
First part is about the territorial evolution of
populating the region and in the ethnical division of the population. Studying the
territorial evolution of the region and the interpretation of a recent social investigation
new arguments are brought about the northern conventional delimitation of the studied
region. Each nationality has been carefully looked on, being presented the territorial
situations according to the facts given by the four censuses shown above.
The second part of the paper is about the issue concerning the religious structure
of the population, including the evolution and the religious organization of each religion.
All the religions and the religious cults are presented in their historic order of the last
census. Due to explain the events, all arguments are resorted to geographical and
historical comparison. The chapter ends with a presentation of the religious and
ecumenic tourism in

the administrative-electoral point of view, indicating the electoral activities in

The second edition of this paper was studied basically on a wide bibliography
