RESUME
The old Montenegrins morality has been exposed in
the works both of foreign and domestic authors with quite
sufficient data from the real folk life. Notices of the
foreigners
especially significant, as well as, the substantial ethno-
characterized dissertation of the English statesman V.
Gladstone. For centuries, the original moral standard was
being brought up in Montenegro, firmly respected by
tribal society and that-time people. It was still in
and
European nationalities. It was drawing the attention of
many explorers of scientific importance, artists,
politicians, statesmen, especially army leaders and
professional soldiers. Numerous literary works, created in
later period, were inspired just by this theme. A lot of
legal-historian and sociological essays were written and
their subject, even partially, was just the phenomena of
Montenegrin traditional morality. Very successful painting
variations, prompted by lives, creativity and views of the
people from this area, were being made by artists.
Only one side was missed for the consideration and
démystification
-
presents the entire philosophical access to genesis,
function and educational value of traditional ethic in
Montenegro. In this sense, it makes a real contribution to
the history of morality on domicile area with the possibility
of positive influence in forming future generations.

The book „Moral tradition of Montenegrins does
not include the author s numerous ethical-philosophical
attitudes, expressed in his other works, which relate to
concrete subject, especially to those judgments which have
found their own place in comments of the works of
Njegos. Technical reasons have not allowed this to be
joined, although these opinions also point at the necessary
union of the general view of the world of Njegos with the
traditional morality of environment in which at least the
great poet originated and was formed,
the creativity of Njegos and morality of the folk make
such an unbreakable entirety and non-concerning some of
them would only result in dubitation of the being of the
other. Their primary and joint archetype is situated
somewhere in the depths of the Early Slav -Christian
Epoch but also of Pre-Christianity Old-Balkan civilizations
and maybe it has originated
Magnificent struggling past of Montenegrins, in
connection with the defense of the national freedom, can
be understood only by a presence of a proper form of
moral conscience, which belongs to the experience of the
heroic eras, but also of dignified layers of Christian ethic
and culture. The visible part of this experience is
expressed in syntagm
and courage .
The author of this dissertation offers just particular
answer to this question.
