book offers a step-by-step guide to obtaining the correct imaging planes of the heart,
instructions for how to set up a ECC-gated cine gradient echo images of, a review of
common pitfalls of cine cardiac imaging, sample applications of phase contrast flow
quantification in cardiovascular imaging, and examples
angiography. This practical approach enables the clinician to translate a fundamental
understanding of MR physics into high quality, reproducible, robust imaging strategies for
assessing cardiovascular disease.
