IN TODAY'S FLATTER ORGANIZATIONS,
productivity and efficiency demand effective
collaboration within and across functional,
physical, and hierarchical boundaries. Though
often concerned with external relationships,
executives generally pay little attention to
assessing and supporting linkages among
