| adam_text | Im deutschen Sprachraum haben sich die Bestrebungen
zur Schulentwicklung in den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten von
zentral gesteuerten, auf Strukturveränderung ausgerichteten
Aktivitäten hin zu stärker schulzentrierten Vorgehensweisen
auf der Linie pädagogischer Reformziele verlagert.
Die vergleichenden internationalen Schulleistungsstudien
TIMSS und PISA boten in den letzten Jahren Anstoß zu einer
grundlegenden Umstellung des bildungspolitischen und
bildungswissenschaftlichen Denkens. Das Sichtbarwerden
von Leistungsvorsprüngen der Schülerinnen anderer Länder
gegenüber jenen des eigenen Landes machte deutlich,
dass
empirische Untersuchungen für die Schulentwicklung
höchst bedeutsame Informationen liefern können.
In diesem Band werden Einsichten zusammengefasst, die
der Erhöhung der Leistungsfähigkeit des Bildungssystems
dienen.
