Mit Anton Corbijn,
der 1955 in Holland geboren wurde
und inzwischen zur internationalen Photographenelite
gehört, begann eine neue Ära für die Pop- und Rock-
Photographie. Seine atmosphärischen, oft melancho¬
lischen Schwarzweiß-Aufnahmen von den Tages- und
Jahrhundertgrößen der Musikszene machten Schule
und revolutionierten die Portraitphotographie in den inter¬
nationalen Medien.

Trak
hat Corbijn erstmals die Grenzen der
Pop-Musik überschritten und seine Portraitgalerie um
Prominente aus Film, Literatur und Mode erweitert. Er
besuchte Regisseure wie David Lynch, Wim Wenders
und Martin

The visual history of popular music hasn't been the
same since Anton Corbijn, born in Holland in
1955,
