Zusammenfassung:A study of the more brilliant extended celestial objects was made. The various astronomical satellites, the kind of observations they perform, and the signals they transmit to earth are examined. The interference of the different signals and the masking by unwanted signals or noise is discussed. A catalog of 320 large bright celestial bodies is presented. For each body its equatorial, ecliptic, and galactical coordinates are given; photographs of each body and its immediate neighborhood are provided and interesting peculiarities are detailed.
