Grounded in a strong developmental orientation, contributing authors address the wide range of disorders that confront mental health professionals in clinical practice. Ways to facilitate parental understanding and management of ADHD and academic problems are described, and the casebook features chapters on child sexual abuse, inpatient treatment, and play therapy as well. Throughout, case examples have been chosen for their applicability to a range of variations that clinicians may encounter with each disorder. Taken together, these cases comprise a comprehensive resource that clinicians treating children and adolescents will want to keep close at hand. |
