Zusammenfassung:Abstract: "User modelling and analysing misconceptions which users have about the domain has been the focus of much recent research. The main drawback with both the overlay model approach and the bug library is that the scope of the user model is static and its limits are predetermined before the system is run. A dynamic user model, which can account for deviant behaviour as it occurs, and can model misconceptions which have not occurred previously, is obviously a desirable component of an intelligent computer-assisted instruction system. This paper proposes a dynamic user modelling approach to misconceptions, using a rule part library. A rule part library consists of sub-conditions of production rules which are combined to form a malrule representing the user's misconception. The user's misconceptions can then be represented within the genetic graph framework. This approach is presently being implemented in the domain of the English article usage of Finnish learners."
