In an effort to avoid inherent research biases in suicidology, this book critically reviews the most current research on suicide and women from a woman's perspective. The contributors consider the social and cultural factors involved, including age-related and ethnic issues, and also provide useful intervention strategies. This volume is a worthy addition to the libraries of clinicians, academics, and students concerned with the psychology of women, suicide, and death studies. |
