Dr Larebo examines the ideology behind these aims, and charts the vast chasm between policy and practice. Firmly grounded in extensive archival research, the book makes a distinct and original contribution to historical scholarship on Italian colonialism and Ethiopian history and increases our understanding of Italian politics and propaganda in the Fascist era. |
