Zusammenfassung:Abstract: "This paper concerns the concept of embedding derivation in graph grammars and other replacement systems. This means to extend or reduce the given context of a derivation. This concept was introduced for graph grammars in 1977 by H. Ehrig leading to the classical embedding theorem. Here three different versions of the embedding theorem are presented; the first concerns the embedding of direct derivations, the second the embedding of derivation sequences and the third is the equivalent formulation of the classical embedding. Thus first the notion of initial pushouts is given used for constructing occurrence adapted productions. Next the categorial, that is the HLR-version of the embedding theorem is given. At last the correspondence to the classical embedding theorem is shown. At last these notions are illustrated by an example."
