Fuzzy logic is used in palmtop computers that recognize and translate handwritten characters. On tap are "smarter" computers and such medical advances as smart artificial body parts. Fuzzy logic even applies to ethical questions For example, when does life begin ? At fertilization? When the fetus is six months old? At the time of birth?
