Zusammenfassung:Abstract: "FORTRAN is the primary language used in scientific software development. FORTRAN lacks support for many of the concepts of systematic programming techniques severely handicapping the productivity of programmers. To a certain extent this may be alleviated through additional tools, like preprocessors that implement higher language constructs by mapping them to standard FORTRAN. Macro expansion is a simple and flexible technique for implementing preprocessors. This paper will discuss the possibilities and limitations of macro expansion used as a tool for FORTRAN programmers."
