Zusammenfassung: | "One lens through which to view global economic interdependence and the spillover of shocks is that of decoupling (and then recoupling). Decoupling between developed and developing countries can be seen in the strong economic performance of China and India relative to that of the United States and Europe in the early 2000s. Recoupling then took place as developing countries sank along with the developed world during the deepening financial crisis of 2008. This volume examines patterns of global economic interdependence and the propagation of shocks in an increasingly integrated world economy. The contributors discuss such topics as the transmission of exogenous shocks; causes of business cycle synchronicity; the differences between global and regional shocks; the South-South trade relationship and its effect on decoupling; vertical specialization and Mexico's manufacturing exports; growth prospects in China, the United States, and Europe after the financial crisis; and the evolving role of the U.S. dollar in international monetary architecture."--Publisher's website |

vertical specialization and Mexico's manufacturing exports; growth prospects in China, the United States, and Europe after the financial crisis; and the evolving role of the U.S. dollar in international monetary architecture."--Publisher's website</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">International economic relations.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85067395</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Globalization.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh99010179</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Mondialisation.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">globalism.</subfield><subfield code="2">aat</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">BUSINESS & ECONOMICS</subfield><subfield code="x">International</subfield><subfield code="x">Economics.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">BUSINESS & ECONOMICS</subfield><subfield code="x">International</subfield><subfield code="x">General.</subfield><subfield code="2">bisacsh</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Globalization</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">International economic relations</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="653" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ECONOMICS/Political Economy</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="653" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ECONOMICS/Finance</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Cheung, Yin-Wong.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="700" ind1="1" ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Westermann, Frank,</subfield><subfield code="d">1970-</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PBJmpcC7k6vwfKtMyV6gR8C</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n2005055328</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="758" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="i">has work:</subfield><subfield code="a">Global interdependence, decoupling and recoupling (Text)</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PCGX8wHFrC37y7cFHxkKVvd</subfield><subfield code="4">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/ontology/hasWork</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="t">Global interdependence, decoupling and recoupling</subfield><subfield code="z">9780262019804</subfield><subfield code="w">(DLC) 2013009797</subfield><subfield code="w">(OCoLC)835951336</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="830" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">CESifo seminar series.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n2002117030</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="l">FWS01</subfield><subfield code="p">ZDB-4-EBU</subfield><subfield code="q">FWS_PDA_EBU</subfield><subfield code="u">https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site&db=nlebk&AN=664932</subfield><subfield code="3">Volltext</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Internet Archive</subfield><subfield code="b">INAR</subfield><subfield code="n">globalinterdepen0000unse</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">EBL - Ebook Library</subfield><subfield code="b">EBLB</subfield><subfield code="n">EBL3339711</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ebrary</subfield><subfield code="b">EBRY</subfield><subfield code="n">ebr10805987</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">EBSCOhost</subfield><subfield code="b">EBSC</subfield><subfield code="n">664932</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ProQuest MyiLibrary Digital eBook Collection</subfield><subfield code="b">IDEB</subfield><subfield code="n">cis33613925</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Oxford University Press USA</subfield><subfield code="b">OUPR</subfield><subfield code="n">EDZ0000234254</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">YBP Library Services</subfield><subfield code="b">YANK</subfield><subfield code="n">11367538</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="994" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">92</subfield><subfield code="b">GEBAY</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ZDB-4-EBU</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="049" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">DE-863</subfield></datafield></record></collection> |

"One lens through which to view global economic interdependence and the spillover of shocks is that of decoupling (and then recoupling). The contributors discuss such topics as the transmission of exogenous shocks; causes of business cycle synchronicity; the differences between global and regional shocks; the South-South trade relationship and its effect on decoupling; vertical specialization and Mexico's manufacturing exports; growth prospects in China, the United States, and Europe after the financial crisis; and the evolving role of the U.S. dollar in international monetary architecture."--Publisher's website International economic relations. http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85067395 Globalization. http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh99010179 Mondialisation. globalism. aat BUSINESS & ECONOMICS International Economics. bisacsh BUSINESS & ECONOMICS International General. bisacsh Globalization fast International economic relations fast ECONOMICS/Political Economy ECONOMICS/Finance Cheung, Yin-Wong.
