Zusammenfassung: | "This second edition of Laboratory Medicine in Psychiatry and Behavioral Science is substantially revised from the first edition published in 2012. In the intervening decade, an explosion of research and publication related to laboratory science and psychiatry has left virtually no subject area untouched. As with the first edition, this manual is designed to assist psychiatrists and other behavioral health clinicians in the care of adult psychiatric patients across a wide range of settings. Among the thousands of laboratory tests available, tests that were selected for inclusion met one or more of the following criteria: a core or basic laboratory test for any patient; a test that is particularly pertinent to psychiatry or behavioral health; or a test that is new to medicine and potentially of interest in the field of behavioral health, including geriatrics. Diseases and conditions selected for inclusion were those for which laboratory tests are primary or important in diagnosis or differential diagnosis; those that are core or common conditions among psychiatric or geriatric patients; and those that have important psychiatric, cognitive, or behavioral consequences. The appendixes contain several algorithms, tables, and figures that may be useful in understanding and interpreting various laboratory tests and their underlying biology"-- |

The appendixes contain several algorithms, tables, and figures that may be useful in understanding and interpreting various laboratory tests and their underlying biology"--</subfield><subfield code="c">Provided by publisher.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="588" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Description based on online resource; title from digital title page (viewed on May 12, 2023).</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Mental illness</subfield><subfield code="x">Diagnosis.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85083646</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Medical laboratory technology.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh86002225</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="0"><subfield code="a">Psychotropic drugs.</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85108528</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1="1" ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Mental Disorders</subfield><subfield code="x">diagnosis</subfield><subfield code="0">https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/D001523Q000175</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1="2" ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Clinical Laboratory Techniques</subfield><subfield code="0">https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/D019411</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1="2" ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Psychotropic Drugs</subfield><subfield code="0">https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/D011619</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Maladies mentales</subfield><subfield code="x">Diagnostic.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Médecine</subfield><subfield code="x">Laboratoires</subfield><subfield code="x">Technique.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="6"><subfield code="a">Psychotropes.</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="650" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Mental illness</subfield><subfield code="x">Diagnosis</subfield><subfield code="2">fast</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="2"><subfield code="a">Tables</subfield><subfield code="0">https://id.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/D020501</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">tables (documents)</subfield><subfield code="2">aat</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Tables (Data)</subfield><subfield code="2">lcgft</subfield><subfield code="0">http://id.loc.gov/authorities/genreForms/gf2014026186</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="655" ind1=" " ind2="7"><subfield code="a">Tables (Données)</subfield><subfield code="2">rvmgf</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="758" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="i">has work:</subfield><subfield code="a">Laboratory medicine in psychiatry and behavioral science (Text)</subfield><subfield code="1">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/entity/E39PCGRddPQwHqJ3DvCRD3CB4C</subfield><subfield code="4">https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/ontology/hasWork</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="776" ind1="0" ind2="8"><subfield code="i">Print version:</subfield><subfield code="a">Jacobson, Sandra A., 1953-</subfield><subfield code="t">Laboratory medicine in psychiatry and behavioral science</subfield><subfield code="b">Second edition.</subfield><subfield code="d">Washington, DC : American Psychiatric Association Publishing, [2023]</subfield><subfield code="z">9781615374502</subfield><subfield code="w">(DLC) 2022043652</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2="0"><subfield code="l">FWS01</subfield><subfield code="p">ZDB-4-EBA</subfield><subfield code="q">FWS_PDA_EBA</subfield><subfield code="u">https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&scope=site&db=nlebk&AN=3598164</subfield><subfield code="3">Volltext</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ProQuest Ebook Central</subfield><subfield code="b">EBLB</subfield><subfield code="n">EBL30500853</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">EBSCOhost</subfield><subfield code="b">EBSC</subfield><subfield code="n">3598164</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="938" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">Askews and Holts Library Services</subfield><subfield code="b">ASKH</subfield><subfield code="n">AH42146677</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="994" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">92</subfield><subfield code="b">GEBAY</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="912" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">ZDB-4-EBA</subfield></datafield><datafield tag="049" ind1=" " ind2=" "><subfield code="a">DE-863</subfield></datafield></record></collection> |
